Introducing Providence Academy
“Always in Pursuit of Educational Excellence”
Providence Academy is St. George’s only private K-12 school. Based upon Christian values, we offer an education that stands out above Common Core.
Providence Academy is pleased to announce the opening of a new campus in beautiful St George, Utah. Unique and different from other private schools, Providence Academy is designed for ages K-12, although ANY AGE is welcome, (children under 5 years of age must be accompanied by a parent.) Organized like a college, family members can enroll in one or more classes up to a full-time schedule. Registrations are accepted anytime during the school year.
Providence is especially designed to assist students who are seeking moral and scriptural training. The flexible schedule also allows students to progress at their own rate.
The goal is to help students meet their full potential as quickly as possible so they can begin taking college courses even while attending Providence Academy.
How is Providence Academy Organized?
Providence Academy is organized to be family friendly. Therefore, classes are structured in three mixed age groups. The Elementary Class is for those learning to read, write and do basic math and science. The Junior Class is for good readers, writers, budding mathematicians and scientists ready for additional challenges. The Senior Classes are for ages 12 and up. However, if they are capable and parents desire, children can attend any group regardless of their age. This way of grouping students creates a very comfortable atmosphere.

Providence Academy Mascot
We selected a Stripling Warrior to represent us as our mascot. A Stripling Warrior whose loins are girt about with truth, having on the breastplate of righteousness, and feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace, wearing the helmet of salvation, holding the shield of faith, and the sword of the Spirit which is poured out upon those who have thus been armed. United in a bond of love, and agreed in all things, faithful unto the end.
