Katrina Jones
Intermediate English
Katrina has always been a voracious reader and she started writing seriously in the second grade. By the time she got to college she knew an English degree was in her future, and a music scholarship made that possible. In 2005 she graduated with a teaching degree in English and Spanish from Utah State University. She has taught English to Spanish-speaking adults, as well as numerous other things (particularly to children) over the past 10 years, and is excited to once again be teaching English to middle school age students.
She is passionate about all things related to Language Arts and is delighted with the possibilities Providence Innovation Academy offers. Katrina’s husband, Kirk, is also a teacher, and they are the parents of four children.
